Devin Glasgow is a dedicated teacher and performer in the Austin, Texas area. His degrees were earned at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida (MM), and Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina (BM). Devin has been a finalist or prizewinner in multiple competitions including the Raleigh Area Flute Association Review and Contest, Appalachian Wind Ensemble Concerto Competition, Kappa Kappa Psi National Concerto Competition, and the Florida MTNA Young Artist Competition.
Devin has performed with the Albany Symphony Orchestra, Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, and performs on multiple woodwind instruments for the Lees-McRae Summer Theatre. As a teacher, he has been on faculty with the Appalachian Community Music School, Florida State University’s Summer Music Camps, and is currently a private lessons instructor for the Leander Independent School District in Austin. Devin is a proud alumni member of Kappa Kappa Psi and holds current memberships with the National Flute Association, Florida Flute Association, and the Flute New Music Consortium. His principal teachers include Eva Amsler, Karen Large, and Nancy Schneeloch-Bingham.
