Julia Evers is an active performer and educator. She received her undergraduate degree in
music education from Baylor University and received her master’s degree in flute performancefrom Florida State University. Julia has served as a judge for Texas All-Region, Florida Tri-State, and the FFA Senior Honors Competition. Recent recognitions include being the scholarship recipient of Alpha Delta Kappa’s Texas Beta Pi Chapter for education.
Julia is a member of the Texas Music Education Association, National Flute Association, and an alumni member of Mu Phi Epsilon. She has actively worked with elementary children in various musical settings and through community involvement. She also currently teaches English via online platforms to international students. Her current research and interests include body awareness in musicians and movement through music.
